Learning to do things they way you are hired/contracted to do them is a vital aspect of becoming successful. You have to start somewhere and work your way through the corporations procedures or the customers expectations and demands.
As a photographer, I have to take the client's wishes in mind as I compose and edit images. A builder has to follow the blueprints. A franchise owner has to abide by the rules of the franchise.
Learning this early is very important.
